Elizabeth Reaser (born Elizabeth Reaser) is an American actress who has been seen on television film and stage productions. Elizabeth Reaser was raised and was born in Michigan. Since her early years, Elizabeth wanted to become an actor. In the years following the completion of her high school education she was accepted into the Juilliard School's drama department. She obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts. She made her television debut in the form of a role as a guest on the cult show, The Sopranos, and then was a part of a variety of successful series such as The Jury, Hack, and Standoff. In 2006, when she landed the part as Alice Alden on the 2006 Saved Saved the career of her character took off. She then appeared on Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife as well as True Detective. Additionally, she was in the films Liberal Arts One and Two as well as The Twilight Saga, all five of the episodes.

Jessica's interest for television and films began at a young, impressionable age. Her career began as a model for fashion. She submitted a tape of herself to producers that included her acting as well as a tape of her training in MMA. They wanted to know if she could fight with swords, and she was able to send them a clip of sword combat. Jessica knew that the role she was playing required training in weapons. After studying the script she recorded her first lesson with an expert. Jonathan Glassner said that the stunt team was amazed by how well Jessica did on her first day of training. The Outpost marked her first major role in the US as her previous movies were in Australia. Jessica's martial arts as well as horseback riding ability and athleticism allow her to perform stunts embodying the strong woman character. In Australia she learned to muay Thai as well as boxing. Jake Stormoen saw dogs roaming about the set for filming Season 4 while on set. The dog was later discovered to belong to the litter of puppies who were able to take housing in the sets. Jessica fostered both puppies.
